The NBA bubble in Orlando is proving to be a unique experience for players, and understandably a challenging one when you’re without friends and family while being confined to a campus site.

Before Game 5 against the Dallas Mavericks, Paul George was experiencing one of the worst slumps of anybody through the first round of the playoffs, and he linked it to some of the mental health challenges that he experienced in the bubble setting.

George scored 35 in a dominant Game 5 win for the Los Angeles Clippers, and it’s nice to see that he seems to be in a better place after consulting the team psychiatrist. It can be tough to open up about these struggles, but talking about them can go a long way.

The quote caught the attention of Kevin Love, who has been one of the most outspoken players in the NBA on mental health, and Love made sure to sure some love for PG.
