The NBA held the 2017 Draft Lottery on Tuesday night and it worked out very well for the Boston Celtics.

Thanks to the deal that sent Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Jason Terry to the Brooklyn Nets back in 2013, the Celtics received three future first-round picks (2014, 2016, 2018), as well as the right to swap first round picks in 2017 in return.

After the results came in, the man responsible for the trade and also known as The Truth, tweeted out the perfect reaction to the Celtics winning the lottery.

Pierce brought them a championship in 2008 and now he helped land them a first overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Considering this all comes less than 24 hours after the team clinched a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals, it’s safe to say it’s been a good 24 hours to be a Celtics fan.
