Heroes and legends are made during the NHL Playoffs, as guys put their body on the line and do whatever it takes for the opportunity to lift the Stanley Cup above their heads. As fans of the game, it doesn’t matter if your favourite team is in the postseason or not, you’re tuning in to just about every single game on the schedule whenever you can because there’s nothing like playoff hockey.
Since it’s the greatest time of the year for hockey fans and everyone is in full NHL playoff mode right now, the guys over at The Beard Club decided to get into the spirit by creating a hilarious parody of the iconic bag skate scene from the 2004 film Miracle.
You probably recognized some familiar faces in the video, even if most of their face was covered by a massive beard. Pavel Barber and On The Bench’s Olly Postanin and Jacob Ardown made cameo appearances as players throughout the video, as does former professional hockey player Thomas Kiriakou, while Canadian rapper B. Rich played the role of the referee.
