The Pittsburgh Penguins made a splash Wednesday by acquiring Tanner Pearson from the Los Angeles Kings, and the move couldn't have come at a more perfect time.

Not only have the Pens lost 6 of their last 7 games, but Sidney Crosby is dealing with an upper body injury and won't play Thursday night against Tampa Bay.  Fortunately for the Pens and their fans, head coach Mike Sullivan revealed the injury is NOT a concussion.

Crosby has a history of concussions, so the fact that this injury is not that is incredible news and fans were extremely relieved upon hearing the news.
Sullivan also provided a timeline for when he expects Crosby to be back in the lineup and luckily it appears his absence will be short.
