Clean-up efforts are underway in Newfoundland, after the province was struck by a historic amount of snowfall over the last few days.

While the blizzard warning in St. John's has been lifted, the city remains in a state of emergency to keep vehicles off the road. The city is beginning to dig itself out from the aftermath of the blizzard, and some citizens are finding creative ways of getting around right now.

Literally, they’re snowboarding on the streets!

We don’t have video evidence of this, but we wish we did, because HOLY.

Snowboarding, skidoos, skiing or snowshoes β€” you name it, the locals are probably using it to get around in the snow.

They aren’t new to this over there.
