Drew Brees made history on Monday night as he became the NFL’s all-time passing leader and he did it an extremely fashionable way by throwing a 62-yard touchdown to rookie wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith.

The congratulatory messages rolled in pretty quickly as soon as Brees set the new NFL record, but the greatest one came from former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning, who happens to be the man he passed for sole possession of first place on the all-time list.

Brees has already set two records this season, most completions and most passing yards in NFL history, and there’s a chance he can set the new record for most passing touchdowns, so Manning decided to kill two birds with one stone and used the video to congratulate him on his most recent feat and upcoming feat.
