Phil Kessel doesn't drop the gloves often, so when he even drops one like he did Tuesday night against the Devils, it's a big deal.
Unfortunately his exchange with Brett Seney wasn't actually ruled a fight and the reason that's unfortunate is the hockey world was robbed of a Kessel Gordie Howe hat trick because he was given two roughing penalties on the play.
According to hockeyfights.com, Kessel only has two career fights during the regular season to his name and no Gordie Howe hat tricks.
When fans saw that he was robbed of that accomplishment, they were actually pretty upset.
