Michael “Pinball” Clemons was a running back for the Toronto Argonauts from 1989-2000 and is one of the greatest return specialists to ever play the game. The six-time Grey Cup champion currently serves as a vice-chairman for the Toronto Argonauts and he’s probably more active in the community now than ever.

This past weekend, the OHL’s Mississauga Steelheads hosted their Pinball Clemons Foundation Game when they went up against the Sudbury Wolves and the guys got a special pre-game pep talk from the CFL legend.

The 2008 Canadian Football Hall of Fame inductee got the Steelheads pumped up ahead of the game with one of his classic motivational speeches and it seemed to work as the hosts earned a 3-1 victory on his  big day.

With it being the Steelheads’ Pinball Clemons Foundation Game, the team made some alterations to their jerseys for the game as they went with a football-themed uniform for the day.

The Steelheads are the second team in less than a week to show some love for the CFL team that plays nearby as the SJHL’s Kindersley Klippers rocked some Saskatchewan Roughriders inspired uniforms last week.
