Tyler Seguin and Mark Scheifele have had some fun before their games over the past two years by taking part in a friendly competition of Rock, Paper, Scissors in order to determine who had to leave the ice first after the pre-game warm-ups.

The bromance is real 😂

Scheifele ended up winning most of the friendly competitions and the two decided that they would retire the pre-game tradition after their game in Dallas back on November 6.

On Tuesday night, the Stars hosted the Nashville Predators and it looks like Tyler Seguin and P.K. Subban might have started a new pre-game tradition between the Central Division rivals.

Some players, like P.K. Subban, like to wait for their opponents to leave the ice so they can fire a puck the length of the ice into the open cage. Instead of heading back to the Stars’ locker room to get prepared for the game, Seguin pretended he was leaving the ice only to race back to stop Subban’s empty net attempt and the two turned it into a mini game.

Perhaps this is the beginning of a new tradition between Seguin and Subban and we’re all for it.
