Alright, put the misplays away – we found our winner. Bonehead Move of the Year goes to…… Devin Darrington!

For some reason it seems as though some football players think they are invincible as soon as they have a sure touchdown. We’ve seen costly taunting penalties, players dropping the ball before crossing the line, or simply players ease up before they actually reach the end zone, leading to a tackle or fumble punch.

None of those are quite as boneheaded as Mr. Darrington’s move, however.

Harvard thought they had put 6 more points on the board, but unfortunately the refs overturned the pretty touchdown because of an ugly gesture made by #36.

Yikes, not what you want to see out of your running back. You can bet that he got an earful from his coaches after the touchdown was wiped. Fortunately for Darrington, Harvard managed to hold on for the win.
