Jaromir Jagr is turning 49 in a couple of weeks and he’s still putting pucks in the back of the net at a professional level.

This past weekend, Jagr scored his first goal of the season and he had a very familiar face set him up for the goal.

The goal was Jagr’s first in nine games, but when you’re 48-years-old you’re bound to be a little slower than players in their early 20’s. The 38-year-old Tomas Plekanec on the other hand has been producing a point per game as he’s put up 10 goals and 14 assists for 24 points in 23 games.

Bet you probably didn’t expect to see Plekanec setting up Jagr in 2021.
