The Minnesota Wild's start to the season has been less than ideal, to say the least.

Sitting 2-6-0 on the season with a Western Conference-low of 4 points in eight games, the state of hockey hasn't had much to celebrate this season.

As per a report out of The Athletic by Michael Russo, Wild fans have let it be known that they're unhappy with the team's performance to date.

Sunday's game in which the Wild won 4-3 over the Habs was the first game in nearly six years that didn't fill the Xcel Energy Center to capacity.

A 251-game sellout streak snapped dating back to December of 2013. Last season, only the Los Angeles Kings lost more games at home than the Wild did.

The game against the Habs was only the team's second home game of the season.
