Tiger Woods has looked like the old Tiger during the opening rounds of tournaments this season, but this weekend he truly in in retro Tiger form. The 42-year-old came out firing in the first two rounds to take a lead and he kept it going in the third round on Saturday, where he showed no signs of slowing down.
Woods picked up where he left off and kept his hot play going into Saturday morning as he scored a 30 (-5) on the front nine to extend his lead and the sports world noticed.
Tiger excitement usually starts off the weekend, but tends to fade away by Saturday evening heading into Sundayโs final round. However, this weekend is completely different as we might actually see Woods come out on top this weekend. Itโs not just the professional athletes noticing the greatness, itโs all of the golf world.
Everyoneโs got their eyes on Tiger heading into the back nine and final round so hopefully he can keep this up right through to the end of the tournament.
