Making a recent appearance on local sports radio, Larry David had some criticism for New York Rangers coach David Quinn’s decision to pull rookie Kaapo Kakko in a recent game.

Well, when Larry David calls you out, of course you have to respond, right?

Quinn kept his response brief and light-hearted: Even Larry David has had bad nights!

Kakko’s rookie season has been rocky at times, with just seven goals and nine assists in 38 games, but a steep learning curve should be no surprise for an 18-year-old adjusting to the NHL. He’s going to have bad nights too, although whether or not you’d choose to play him through those bad nights is certainly open to discussion.

With all due respect to David Quinn, though, we’re probably just going to default to Larry David’s side on mostly everything. He’s Larry David!
