The New York Rangers wrap up a three-game home stand on Tuesday night and it isn’t going to be another ordinary home game as the team will host their annual First Responders Night.

Through the special promotion, the team provides special access to tickets to first responders, their families, and friends for their game against the Colorado Avalanche and the team will honour those first responders on their warm-up jerseys.

The players will rock three different colours on the ice to represent the New York Police Department, New York City Fire Department and New York Emergency Medical Services, and will feature all three crests within the numbers and assistant captain patches.

Fans will also get a chance to meet Ranger, the team’s service dog in training, at the game on Tuesday night, which is a win for all fans.
