For the first time since being fired in the summer by the Toronto Raptors, Detroit Pistons head coach Dwane Casey returned back to his old stomping grounds at the Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday night.

The winningest coach in Raptors history compiled a 320-238 record in seven seasons that included five straight playoff appearances. Prior to tip-off, the Raptors greeted Casey with a special montage that pulled the Toronto faithful out of their seats.

Casey, who helped notch a team-record 59 wins last season and was named the NBA Coach of the Year, received a resounding round of applause and a standing ovation as the tribute video played out.

Even though Nick Nurse now has Casey's old occupation, is quite clear that Raptors fans are thankful for the job that the 61-year-old did, even if they were unable to reach the NBA Finals over his tenure.
