It has been nearly 20 years since the Vancouver Grizzlies relocated to Memphis, but you’re still more likely to see someone in Vancouver Grizzlies gear before Memphis Grizzlies gear (except for maybe in Tennessee).
When the NBA restarts in Orlando, the Toronto Raptors and the Grizzlies are expected to go head-to-head on August 9. Even though the game will be played without any fans in the stands, basketball fans watching on TV or streaming the game will be treated to one of the greatest jersey matchups in sports.
That’s right, the Grizzlies will be wearing their Vancouver gear for the game, while the Raptors will be wearing their original jerseys.
