According to a 2016 study from the Sports Business Journal, the average age of MLB fans was 57 years old, and one thing 57 year olds love to do is poke fun at millennials. There is a reason that you see countless columns about industries or traditions that millennials are killing, because people are eating it up.

Now a minor-league baseball teams is getting in on the fun of mocking the younger generation with a “Millennial Night” where they will offer participation ribbons, napping and selfie stations and avocados.

As you probably could have expected, millennials did not think the special event was very funny. A lot of people decided to suggest some other themes they could try out in the future.
