It looks like the Tom Brady free agency debate might soon be coming to an end.

The 42-year-old is set to become a free agent and for the first time in his career, his future has looked murky. But to the delight of Patriots fans, their prized quarterback could be returning to New England for at least another season. Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller reported on Thursday that the feeling around the NFL is Brady will re-sign with the Patriots and “get some help." Miller added that a former staffer said Belichick acknowledged he can’t win with any other available QB and two names that keep coming up are tight end Hunter Henry and wide receiver A.J. Green.

Maybe A.J. can go to New England but it appears some of Henry’s teammates aren’t going to have it. Gotta respect Melvin Gordon for the incredible comment after hearing the news.

Brady has ironically been linked to the Chargers as a possible replacement for Philip Rivers. The team acknowledged they had parted ways with the latter after 16 years together. This has already been a wild offseason!

Robert Kraft will reportedly not franchise tag Brady and said he would not force Belichick to re-sign him, but it looks like the three could be united again sooner than later. Time will tell how things shake out.
