The Cincinnati Reds and the New York Mets went head-to-head at Citi Field on Wednesday night and it turned into quite the defensive battle as the teams combined for just one run and nine hits.

Cincinnati ended up taking the 1-0 victory over New York, but the Mets came close to stealing the victory in the bottom of the ninth inning.

However, Reds outfielder Jesse Winker had other plans.

If that ball dropped thereโ€™s a chance Brandon Nimmo would have ended up on either second or third base, setting up the potential game-winning run at the plate, but the 25-year-old outfielder came up with a big play and waved goodbye to Mets fans to celebrate.

Absolute savage.
