Retirement is the hot topic in football right now after Andrew Luck stunned the sports world and called it a career at the age of 29.  Luck wasn't the only big name to retire this offseason, though.

After winning another Super Bowl with the New England Patriots, Rob Gronkowski hung up his cleats.  The decision was a lot less surprising considering how many injuries he sustained over the course of his career, but a decision like that is never as simple as it may sound and Gronk opened up about retiring.

Rarely, if ever, have we seen Gronk emotional to the point where he was basically brought to tears.  When you've had to battle back and play through as many injuries as Gronk has, retirement and losing that joy to play is the result.
Gronkowski was speaking at a CBD Medic press conference and advocated for its use in sports, specifically football, to help athletes recover.
