The Utah Jazz have really struggled since the beginning of December. Dating back to December 1, the Jazz have won just five of their last 18 games and they took a three-game losing skid into Wednesday night’s game against the Washington Wizards.

With the two teams locked in a 74-74 tie with just over two minutes remaining in the third quarter, Jazz guard Rodney Hood was ejected from the game. As he made his way to the tunnel to head back to the locker room, a fan tried capturing the moment from his courtside seats and Hood was having none of it.

Clearly frustrated with the ruling on the court, the 25-year-old let his emotions get the best of him and he took it all out on the fan’s phone.

The fan was clearly unhappy about Hood’s actions and apparently brought it up to some of the arena security and the team’s security.

Do you think he should be punished by the NBA for smacking the fan’s phone out of his hands?
