Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy hit theatres 15 years ago and it’s a character that has really stuck with Will Ferrell over the years.

On Thursday night, the legendary broadcaster was in Los Angeles where he joined the FOX Sports West crew in the booth to help them call the game between the Kings and the San Jose Sharks.

Ferrell let the regular crew do their jobs for the opening period but by the second frame he was in full broadcaster mode and quickly stole the show.

He wouldn’t be the true Ron Burgundy if he didn’t have a massive burrito and some milk with him and that’s exactly what he got delivered to the booth in the middle of the action.

It’s not the first time Ferrell has taken over a broadcast as the fictional character as he’s also joined legendary broadcaster Vic Rauter in the booth at the Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings in the past.

Nice to see that Ron Burgundy hasn’t lost a step in his broadcasting game over all these years.
