It’s the age old question in soccer, Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi?
The two soccer players are widely thought of as the two greatest players on Earth, but nobody seems to be able to agree which one takes top spot. If anyone out there is a big believer in recency bias, they would be a big believer in Ronaldo as the king of soccer following the first two games each player played during the 2018 World Cup.
While the stats go on and on, and the teams they play for aren’t the same, the meat and potatoes of this story is that Ronaldo has scored four goals on route to a win and a tie, while Messi has been held goalless on route to a loss and a tie.
Needless to say, Ronaldo fans took advantage of the moment.
