The Saskatchewan Roughriders’ matchup against the Montreal Alouettes on Saturday night will be a lot bigger than just another regular season football game as the team will honour the Humboldt Broncos hockey team and the families affected by the tragic bus crash throughout the night.

The Roughriders got the #HumboldtStrong day started early as they added a special touch to the team’s 13th Man statue that sits right outside Mosaic Stadium.

In preparation of Saturday night’s game, the team added a Humboldt Broncos jersey to their 13th Man statue which includes the Humboldt Strong message at the bottom on the back of the jersey. The members of the team taking in tonight’s game got a special tour ahead of the game and got some special gifts from both the Roughriders and the Alouettes.
