The Toronto Blue Jays are BACK, and we could not be more excited! While they aren’t back in Toronto, technically, they are back in the batter’s box, they’re back on the pitcher’s mound, they’re back on our television sets.

The Jays took on the New York Yankees on Sunday to open up Spring Training action. Playing in Grapefruit League, the Jays defeated their division rival 6-4, thanks in part to a 2-for-2 performance at the plate from Rowdy Tellez.

With 25% capacity allowed at George M. Steinbrenner Field, a number of spectators were allowed to take in the action. For Tellez, this meant a lot, and he summarized the feeling with one fantastic analogy.

Yep, just like Grandma’s Mac and Cheese… the analogy was right at the tip of our tongues!

If it helps Rowdy continue to hit well, bring on that Mac and Cheese feeling. Tellez is a key member to a Jays offence absolutely brimming with potential. Get your plates ready.
