The NBA season is still on hold but that hasn’t stopped Houston Rockets point guard Russell Westbrook from dishing out assists in the Houston area.
On Monday, Westbrook and his Why Not? Foundation announced a partnership with Houston mayor Sylvester Turner’s Office of Education and Comp-U-Dopt that will provide 650 Houston-area students with new laptops.
People all over the world are practicing social distancing by staying home, which means there are a lot of kids who are trying to get a proper education from home and a lot of them don’t have the proper tools or access to get the work done.
