At the World Championships in Denmark, we’ve seen some interesting tactics by players motoring around the venues. Pavel Datsyuk was seen spotted roaming around with roller guards before boarding a team bus to a different arena he put his gear on in.

Prior to Team Russia’s 3-1 loss to Team Sweden on Tuesday, goaltender Vasili Koshechkin was spotted being delivered to the ice surface on some sort of special cart heading into the second period, and the footage is pretty hilarious to watch, especially since it’s a goaltender that's grinning from ear to ear.

That’s what happens when the locker room is too far away from the ice surface. You get your own private escort by a group of arena staff.

With the loss, Sweden clinched the top spot in Group A and is the only undefeated team left in the tournament, making them a favourite to win the championship. Both teams were already locked into a spot for the quarter-finals.

Russian will draw Team Canada on Thursday afternoon, while Sweden will face Latvia. The other two quarter match-ups will be USA versus the Czechs, while Finland and Switzerland will duke it out.
