Over in Russia, the KHL is celebrating their 2018 Week of Hockey Stars, which salutes “the finest masters of the game” in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Among one of the events is the Russian Women’s Hockey League all-star game, which marked the second time the event has taken place.

Team East would go on to win the game of Team West, and celebrated with a special dance for spectators, and it’s pretty darn cool.

The KHL Women’s League (WHL) is in its second full season in partnership with the KHL, and is comprised of seven clubs.

he tenth annual KHL all-star weekend runs from January 13-14th at the Barys Arena and will see fromer NHL all-stars Ilya Kolvalchuk, Andrei Marakov, Dmitri Kalinin, Nigel Dawes, Nikita Nestorov, Linus Omark, as well as Canadian Olympians Marc-Andre Gragnani, Brandon Kozun, Chay Genoway and Linden Vey.
