Ryan Kesler is easily the best heel in the NHL at the moment. Other contenders like Matthew Tkachuk, Nazem Kadri and Brandon Dubinsky and many others have emerged, but Kesler still holds the title.
Last night, he proved why.
With the Ducks playing their in-state rivalry against the LA Kings, Kesler was getting booed all night. That’s not unusual for Kesler, as fans seem to boo him at several rinks around the NHL, but on Saturday he added a little fire to the flames.
Kesler put the team ahead 2-0 and then egged on the crowd even more.
You might think this is just something he does on the ice, but he proved that’s not true recently.
He was around the Anaheim Ducks offices and he proved that he is the instigator in that setting as well. This is classic Kesler.
