Some hockey players have already returned to the gym and the ice and started putting in workouts, while others are still enjoying their time off before they have to head to camp.

If you’re a member of the St. Louis Blues, though, you’re probably still celebrating the franchise’s first-ever Stanley Cup.

Earlier this week Conn Smythe winner Ryan O’Reilly got to spend his day with the Stanley Cup and made the most of his time with hockey’s most prized possession. A couple of parades and a visit to grandma, on top of the other things he did during the day, but once the sun went down the party continued and O’Reilly brought in Dallas Green of Alexisonfire and City and Colour to perform at his party.

It's already cool enough to get to spend the night partying with the Stanley Cup and it's even cooler when there's live music to set the mood.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen an NHL player call up a famous musician or band to play at their Stanley Cup party and it certainly won’t be the last time. It’s also not the first time we’ve seen O’Reilly collaborate with a Canadian musician as he helped Arkells lead singer Max Kerman announce their show in Buffalo when he was still with the Sabres.
