In between Game 1 and Game 2 of the Vegas Golden Knights vs. Winnipeg Jets series, Ryan Reaves had some interesting quotes about Dustin Byfuglien.

It all started with Reaves actually saying Byfuglien was bigger than him, but ended with Reaves saying he was the strongest player in the NHL. ESPN’s Emily Kaplan had the whole conversation between Reaves and reporters.

Unfortunately for Reaves, he then tried to run Byfuglien over in Game 2 and got stood up. It was quick reversal that had fans mocking Reaves for his quote that did not age well.

That’s when Jordan Reaves, Ryan’s brother and current CFL player, stepped in to teach the Twitter trolls a lesson. First of all, he adjusted his brother’s quote slightly, explaining that he is the toughest player in the league and then went on to roast the fans that were making fun of him.
