Ryan Reaves is playing his first season with the Pittsburgh Penguins and it seems like he and Phil Kessel are quickly becoming the best of friends.

Earlier this week, the Penguins released some fantastic footage of the two right wingers going head-to-head in a game of pick-up basketball and Reaves came out on top with ease.

The Penguins arrived in Minnesota on Friday ahead of their tilt with the Wild on Saturday night, and Reaves made sure to get to the room ahead of Kessel in order to pull off a fantastic prank.

It’s probably a good thing Kessel’s hands were full because Reaves might have caught a quick right hand from his teammate after he scared the bejeezus out of Kessel.

However, if that happened the Penguins enforcer probably would have been able to handle himself just fine.

Hopefully this is just the first of many pranks Ryan Reaves has in store for us.
