Halloween is ten days away, but it's safe to say Sam Darnold and the New York Jets had a nightmare performance at the Meadowlands on Monday night.

Darnold was the latest victim to fall to the Patriots' vaunted defence, who picked the Jets QB off twice and recovered a fumble in what turned into an absolute blowout.

The former USC QB was mic'up up for the game, and after he threw his second interception for the game, he was caught saying "I'm seeing ghosts" while reviewing tape on an iPad.

Hopefully Sam checks underneath his bed and in his closet before he goes to sleep tonight.

The Patriots' defense this season really does possesses that type of impact. Despite knowing deep down that they’d locked up a victory, head coach Bruce Belichick made sure his players were still defensively engaged while nursing a 24-0 lead entering half.

New England cruised to a 33-0 victory and improved to 7-0 on the season, while the Jets fell to 1-6 on the year.
