The New York Giants haven’t had a running back total 1,000 rushing yards in a regular season since Ahmad Bradshaw did in 2012 with 1,015 rushing yards, but they’re hoping that all changes now that they have Saquon Barkley leading the backfield.

The Giants selected the highly touted running back with the second overall pick in this year’s draft and is expected to finally give the team a reliable running game. On Tuesday night, the 21-year-old was a special guest at the New York Yankees and Houston Astros game, where he revealed that he recently attempted to recruit Yankees slugger Aaron Judge to join the Giants.

We’re sure Judge was flattered to get the invite from Barkley, but he decided it would be best for him and the Yankees if he stuck to baseball.

As for Barkley, he was a special guest of the Yankees as he was brought in to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
