The Nationals came out of the All-Star break in Washington behind the Phillies and Braves in the NL East.

Luckily for them, their first series of the second half of the season is a three-game set at home against the Braves.  Friday night, the series began and Stephen Strasburg was on the mound, but he got roughed up and Atlanta won 8-5.

Strasburg was tagged for 6 earned runs in just 4.2 innings of work and after he got the hook, he and Nats' ace Max Scherzer got into a heated exchange.

After the game, Strasburg and manager Dave Martinez commented on the exchange, while Scherzer wasn't available for comment.
