Football fans don't often get excited about their team drafting a punter, but when that punter is touted as the "GOAT" of punting, fans tend to get excited.

Through two weeks, Seahawks punter Michael Dickson (an Australian punter drafted in the 5th round of the 2018 NFL draft out of Texas) has certainly lived up to the hype.

Monday night, it wasn't just Dickson's punting that wowed fans, it was also his dropkick kickoff that had the football world buzzing.

The reason Dickson did the dropkick on the kickoff (which apparently is allowed) is because the Bears took a penalty on the extra point which moved the ball up on the kickoff.

Rather than letting Sebastian Janikowski just kick it out of play, Dickson dropkicked it in order to force the Bears to return it.  Later in the game, Dickson also tried a dropkick onside kick that didn't quite work, but was cool to watch.

If you're a frustrated Seahawks fan, at least you can enjoy watching Dickson punt the ball all year long because his 51.5 average on punts, with 5 of his 13 punts thus far landing inside the 20, are a thing of beauty to watch.
