The Buffalo Bills released quarterback Nathan Peterman on Monday night, and honestly, we’ll probably miss the legendary amount of interceptions this guy threw.

In honour of this, Seinfeld’s J. Peterman and Sports Illustrated gave a touching, hilarious, and satirical speech to honour the end of an era in Buffalo.

Some of our favourite moments from the tribute are when J. Peterman acknowledges the way that N. Peterman “excels in his ineptitude”, and commends him for being “such a giving soul” for the way he caused as many opposing touchdowns as he did Bills’.

The video is an excellent culmination to what was a wild 8 games with the Buffalo Bills, and fans were quick to react on Twitter to both this specific video and to Peterman’s release.

“Goodnight, sweet prince”, laments J. Peterman to conclude the video, and we concur.

Goodnight, sweet Nathan. Goodnight, sweet picks.
