NHL 20 is here... but is it better than last year’s edition?

Alumni teams, the Eliminator mode, and of course, smoother gameplay are some of the additions to NHL 20 over last year’s game. NHL 19 got an 8.0 from us, so how did this year’s edition do?

A 7.5 verdict is the final verdict for this year’s game. It’s fun! If you’re a hardcore Chel fan, you’ve probably already bought the game. If you're a casual fan curious about getting back into the series, though, there may not be enough new additions to get the full recommendation.
As DZ puts it, it’s the best playing hockey game out on the market, but it’s not that different from last year’s best playing hockey game on the market.
