This offseason, the face of the Arizona Coyotes franchise decided to hang up his skates for good as Shane Doan announced his retirement.

Players past and present congratulated Doan on his incredible career when he made the announcement.

Doan had an impact on a ton of players over the course of his career, especially the young players on the Coyotes now tasked with bringing the team back to the playoffs.

Even though his hockey career is over, Doan made relationships with teammates and players that will last a lifetime.

A perfect example of this revealed itself on Tuesday as Doan talked on OverDrive 1050 about a bet he has with former teammate Keith Yandle now that he's retired.

250 is a big number, but as you heard in the video, Doan is skating still and clearly he's not going to just let his body go now that he's retired.

Plus, with NHL players not going to the Olympics in 2018, Doan could play for Canada and he didn't shoot down that possibility.
