Shin-Soo Choo pledges $200K to coronavirus relief in South Korea, $1000 to 200 minor leaguers

Shin-Soo Choo is the greatest big league hitter to come out of South Korea.

Heading into his 16th MLB season, the 37-year-old made the move of his career on Wednesday as he pledged a $200,000 donation to the Community Chest of Korea to help with COVID-19 relief in Daegu, South Korea.
 

The veteran wasn’t done there, though, as he also announced that he’ll be donating $1000 to about 200 minor league players within the Rangers’ organization this month.
