Shohei Ohtani is the most entertaining man in baseball. Full stop.

The Los Angeles Angels star does it all, and he does it all so well. Ohtani throws triple-digit heaters with wicked movement, he smashes baseballs harder than anyone else in the league, he steals bases… there’s no one quite like him.

It seems like every start he has on the mound leads to more entertaining moments, and other-worldly stats. Monday’s start was no different, as Ohtani was once again being shared all over social media for a number of reasons.

First of all, Ohtani hit Colorado Rockies slugger Trevor Story with a pitch. While this is a very common occurrence, Ohtani made sure to check in on his opponent when he could.

That wasn’t even the only time he apologized to Story. He also seemed to offer condolences after this comebacker to the mound.

That wasn’t all that made Ohtani’s performance impressive, however…

What a player.
