When you're feeling down, sometimes a little laughter can cheer you and go a long way.

Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews is progressing from his injured shoulder injury that he suffered after taking a hit from Jets defenceman Jacob Trouba back on October 27th.On Sunday, Matthews returned to a full practice for the first time since the hit.

During his down time, Matthews is a regular visitor at the Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.

Just like Matthews does with his friends at the hospital, some of the ambassadors of the hospital decided to bring a smile to Matthews' face by sending him a video full of hockey-related jokes.

Matthews and the Leafs teamed up with the Sick Kids to launch the Blue and White crew, a new fundraising campaign which a goal to build a brand new hospital.
