Tom Wilson is the talk of the hockey world and once again, it's because of a controversial hit.  Sunday night, Wilson was given a match penalty for an illegal open-ice hit on Oskar Sundqvist and he was offered an in-person hearing.

In-person hearings and suspensions are nothing new for Wilson, and on Tuesday Sidney Crosby was asked about the hit and had this to say:

The Penguins are very familiar with Wilson and his controversial hits as he delivered a hit to Zach Aston-Reese in the playoffs and was suspended three games.

Some thought he deserved more games given his history, but he only got three and went on to help the Capitals win the Stanley Cup.  Speaking of that Stanley Cup win, chances are Wilson will be watching the banner being raised to the rafters from the press box as a suspension seems extremely likely.
