The NHL Draft is not far off and some of the best prospects in hockey (for this year's draft and in the future) are competing right now in the U18 World Championship.

Projected 1st overall pick Jack Hughes of the United States is the biggest name competing in the tournament and Friday, he recorded 7 points in a victory over Slovakia.  4 of those 7 points were goals, the last of which was one of the worst own goals you'll see.

It was a perfect finish for a 2-on-0.  The problem is the player finishing off the play was scoring on his own net.  It happens to the best of us, but that's unfortunate to say the least.

Hughes didn't get any help from opposing players on his other tallies, though, and his 7-point game is definitely making Devils fans even more excited about the prospect of drafting him with the first pick.
