Flamengo and Vasco da Gama went head-to-head in Campeonato Brasileiro Série A action over the weekend and fans witnessed something other sports fans most likely have never witnessed before.

During the game, Vasco midfielder Bruno Silva was knocked out of the game and needed some assistance getting off the field. That’s when an ambulance came out to pick him up to transport him to the nearest hospital, but not without some help from the players first.

The driver had some issues getting the ambulance started after they loaded Silva into the vehicle, but that’s when players from both sides stepped up in a big way and helped give the ambulance a boost to help get the driver on his way to the hospital. As for Silva, he regained consciousness shortly after he left the pitch and his X-rays showed no damage from his brutal collision.
