The Quebec Nordiques have not played a game in the NHL in more than 20 years, but their supporters will not back down until the league decides to give Quebec another NHL franchise.

With the NHL jersey rights switching from Reebok to Adidas next season, every team will be rocking new threads when they hit the ice for the start of the 2017-18 season. Since we now know what every team’s uniform will look like next year, someone decided to have some fun and went ahead and created some brand new Quebec Nordiques jerseys to fit with Adidas’ jersey style.

Designed as a concept submission for Icethetics.co by Christopher Hyzy, put together some new-look Nordiques jerseys and we’re all for them, including the alternate jersey.

Players and fans throughout the league still show a lot of love for the Quebec Nordiques, so hopefully the NHL will consider bringing a franchise back to Quebec when they plan on expanding the league once again.
