The St. Louis Blues and the Minnesota Wild were supposed to play in the Winter Classic last season but the game was postponed due to the COVID pandemic.

However, this season the NHL plans on going through with the outdoor game, which will take place on January 1, 2022, at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Earlier this week the Wild revealed the special edition jerseys they’ll rock for the Winter Classic, and on Friday evening the Blues followed suit and revealed their special edition threads.

The Blues got some help from David Perron and Ryan O’Reilly helped reveal the Blues’ Winter Classic jerseys, which gives the original worn back in 1967 a nice modern touch.

Sometimes keeping it simple goes a lot further and these jerseys will definitely look sharp once they’re under the lights at Target Field.
