An aspiring champion had the opportunity to chat with a two-time champion ahead of the 2018 NBA All-Star Game.

Milwaukee Bucks unicorn Giannis Antetokounmpo met with his All-Star captain Steph Curry and received a few tips on leadership before tip-off. Curry explained that it’s key for a player to appreciate what his team does, but lead the charge at the same time

For Giannis, there might not be a better opportunity for the 23-year-old to receive advice. Antetokounmpo was born in Greece and doesn’t train with American athletes in national events, so the All-Star game is a perfect platform from him to meet with some of the game’s best. It’s telling that Curry was not only willing to have the conversation with the youngster, but also selected him onto his team. Clearly the star point guard sees something special in the kid.

A one-time NBA Finals MVP, Curry knows more than most about what it takes to lead a team to the promised land. We’re sure the two will connect for some sort of big play, but more importantly, the ‘Greek Freak’ will leave the experience with some incredible knowledge.
