If there’s something we can take away from this NFL season, it has to be how much progression has been made to ensure there are more women involved within the game.

Callie Brownson, Jennifer King, Sarah Thomas, and many others have been trailblazers not only within the league but within both football and the sports world as a whole.

Well Super Bowl LV is no different, as this year will be a barrier-breaking year like no other with there being more women in on-field roles than ever before.

On the Bucs sidelines, there are three women who will be aiding Tom Brady and the rest of the squad.

Carly Helfand, Buccaneers scouting assistant.
Maral Javadifar, Buccaneers strength and conditioning coach.
Lori Locust, Buccaneers' assistant defensive line coach.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the bench, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will have both Julia Frymyer and Tiffany Morton as assistant athletic trainers, aiding them in their run for a back-to-back Super Bowl win.

And lastly, the seventh woman apart of the big weekend is none other than Sarah Thomas serving as Down Judge. Thomas additionally, will be the first woman to officiate a Super Bowl game.

We can’t wait for these women to continue breaking down barriers within the sports world!
